So, BE the calm in the storm. What am I talking about? I’m talking about right now in the world there’s a lot going on and there’s a lot of disruption of systems and processes and services — and a war in Europe.
Hi. This is Mark Bullock. I’m the co-founder of Videosocials.net and phoneBlogger.net.
And if you’re in finance or you’re in law or you’re in insurance or whatever that you’re in where your clients, your potential clients might be out there seeking some sort of answer, some sort of looking-forward — What do we do? How do we avoid being affected by this? How do we avoid catastrophe, etc?
There’s a lot of panic in the world right now. There’s a lot of kind of under-the-scenes panic in the world. The best way that you can deal with it is — you know what you know. Be straight with them and be the calm in the storm. In other words, you come across to them as somebody that — maybe you have some answers. Maybe you have some solutions. Maybe you have some things that they may want to try. Maybe you’re not 100% sure on some things but perhaps they can mitigate risks one way or another. The whole point being is be authentic, be calm and be helpful.
And no matter what the topic is — no matter what the subject is — that’s the way to approach it when you’re dealing with people who are in a very turbulent kind of economy, and the whole geopolitical mess that’s going on right now… don’t add to it. Whatever your political beliefs are or whatever your beliefs are around what should be done, the government should be doing or not doing, etc., etc., work with the facts and be helpful.
And I hope you found that valuable. If you did, there’re lots more at Videosocials.net/Academy, which will be a link below. Again, I’m Mark Bullock, the co-founder of Videosocials.net. Have a great day.
