Hi.. Mark Bullock with Videosocials.net and phoneBlogger.net. And this is another installment for my course on doing videos through Videosocials .
So if you’re a Videosocials member are you missing out on an opportunity? And it’s your call to action.
So I’ve done a number of videos on calls to action and I’ll tell you in a minute how you can find the other ones, but this one is having to do with being specific. So what am I talking about?
If you are… our typical is ‘call me’ or ’email me’ or ‘go to my website’ or something more general, as it were and there’s nothing wrong with that but it’s not all that compelling.
The reason that they’re probably watching your video in the first place is they have an interest in that topic. They’ve got a problem they want to solve, an issue they’re trying to to work through, etcetera. They may be exploring whether you might be the person to help them with that, but so why not send them to something very specific? Like a video playlist that is other videos on that same topic or perhaps a means by which to go to your blog.
And so I’ll go ahead and give you an example of a call to action. ‘So if you find this valuable, please go to Videosocials.net/brander. There you’ll find our knowledge base. Within that Knowledge base is a big green box that says search for an answer. You can type in calls to action right there and numerous videos will or list for videos or links to videos will pop up there to show you, on our blog, videos that are specific having to do with calls to action. Now, why would you want to do that?
Again, they are looking for or consuming content and information about a specific area or topic and that gives them something very narrow that’s one of your properties, whether it be Youtube, your website, you know, facebook, whatever social media platform that you’re on etc.. But it gives them a specific place to go that’s a step along the way, which is another video I did on calls to action having to do with asking them to call you and/or you directly is a pretty big step if they don’t know you that well already. Give them a smaller step so that they can get to know you, like you, and get to trust you by consuming other content that you’ve done.
So again be specific, give them very specific address to go to, whatever property that is. And then of course add it to your description in the in the video itself so that they can literally click on that link and you can just tell them to go, if it is a longer address, as an example that they can just click on the link in the description below.
Hope you found that valuable, again Mark with Videosocials.net , phoneBlogger.net. Have a great day.
