Professionals that are trying to market their practice all know the same secret and that is they need speaking opportunities. They need time to be in front of their audience of potential clients and/or referral sources, but how do you do that when everything now is going virtual?
Hi, I’m Mark Bullock, I’m the co-founder of Videosocials.net and phoneBlogger.net . And what I’m talking about is live streams, video podcasts, audio podcasts, radio shows, etc. You become a branded expert by getting in front of your audience and talking about what it is that you do in a way that’s valuable for them.
Videosocials has been going for almost three years now and we’ve got a whole lot of people that are now getting comfortable in front of the camera and delivering short punchy messages that are valued to their audience. But the next level is having a deeper conversation and, even more importantly, having a conversation with someone else in either a livestream or recorded session that your audience can get to know a little bit more in depth about particular topics and see how you’re tied in with other professionals in related industries or other industries that have synergy with yours.
Our best thoughts come out of that conversation. So are you doing live streams, video podcasts, video interviews, these types of things? If not, are you thinking about it? Is this something that you have some curiosity about? Well, I have an event for you. It’s coming up, we’re going to be doing it monthly, the link will be in the description below so I’m not going to give you a specific date today, but it will be in the description below and you’ll want to, if you’re already hosting whatever online, as far as an interview, again, a podcast, anything like that, any kind of stream, if you’re thinking about it and/or you want to be a guest at one… for one of those that is doing it so that you can kind of get your feet wet, we’re developing an entire system and process to be able to help facilitate those types of things if you’d like that help — handling all the logistics and what to do with all the chats that are coming in and how do I get people to show up, etc.
So we’re building a program around that, but more importantly, we’re trying to connect hosts with other hosts and those hosts that want to be doing this and want to be guests and getting some experience in that arena.
